Kent Pilcher, President of Estes Construction
Kent is the major shareholder of Estes Partners Holding Company, overseeing a conglomerate of five construction and architectural firms spanning nine offices across Iowa, Illinois, Missouri, and Kansas. These include Estes Construction, Point Builders, City Construction, Murray Company, and Vantage Architects.
With a marriage of 40 years to his wife Judi, Kent is a proud father of two sons, Jacob and Samuel. Beyond his professional endeavors, Kent finds fulfillment in fitness activities, snow skiing, golf, and reading.
Kent’s dedication extends beyond the boardroom as he actively participates in community initiatives and industry leadership roles. Notable positions include serving on the Board of Trustees for Palmer College of Chiropractic, the YMCA of Iowa Mississippi Region, Skip A Long Child & Family Services, and Per Mar Security, among others.
His leadership experience encompasses co-chairing the RegionQ2030 Vision for Quad City, vice-chairing the Quad City Community Foundation, and chairing the Scott County YMCA and Skip-a-Long Child Development Services. Kent has also held prominent positions in organizations such as Master Builders of Iowa and Crow Valley Golf Club.
His contributions have earned him recognition, including being elected to the Consulting Constructors Council of the Associated General Contractors (AGC), receiving the Build Iowa Award for lifetime accomplishment from Master Builders of Iowa, and being honored in the Junior Achievement Quad City Region Business Laureate and Hall of Fame.
