Gavin Blair, Iowa Association of REALTORS
Gavin Blair was appointed as Chief Executive Officer of the Iowa Association of REALTORS® on December 14, 2015. Gavin’s real estate background in Real Estate began in 2009 with the Columbus Board of REALTORS® (CBR).
In 2009, Gavin was hired to become the first ever Government Affairs Director for the CBR. He oversaw the Government Relations and Central Ohio REALTORS® PAC in this role for 4 years. During these four years he also served on City Council in Pickerington, and became Council President in 2011. In May of 2013, The Dayton Area Board of REALTORS® hired Gavin to become their CEO. As CEO, he oversaw a staff of 13 and 2,500 member Association.
As Iowa Association of REALTORS®’s Chief Executive Officer, Gavin has also served at the National Association of REALTORS® (NAR) level on multiple committees and work groups as well as Chairing the State Association Executive Committee in 2018.
Gavin is a graduate of THE Ohio State University with a Bachelor degree in Political Science and a minor in US History. He holds the REALTOR® Certified Executive (RCE).
Gavin is married to Courtney and loves nothing more than watching their two children Hayes and Harper compete in every sport imaginable. He also loves to golf and travel.
